Happy National Margarita Day!!!
What up Wednesdays will be on a 1 day delay because um hello??!! How could I pass up national margarita day?? I couldn’t!!
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I love me a good margarita. There’s this peach margarita (which is one of my all time faves), this watermelon margarita, a rhubarb margarita, blackberry margarita, mango margarita, cherry margarita(maybe my 2nd fav), fresh citrus margarita, Cadillac margarita, and don’t forget the margarita pie I made for “pi day.” My margarita obsession runs deep…
The inspiration for this margarita came from the fact that over the weekend I had an obsession with blackraspberry chocolate chip ice cream that was just so beyond delicious. So I saw this recipe for a margarita using black raspberry liquer and I knew that I just had to make it for national margarita day. It was fate! And the name is cool too!
Blackjack margarita
2oz tequila
1 oz triple sec
1 oz black raspberry liquer
2 oz Rose’s lime juice
salt for rim of glass and a lime wedge
Place all ingredients (except salt) in a shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into a salt rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime and enjoy!!!
