Cran-apple sparkling cider mocktail

This mocktail is seriously delicious. It’s a very versatile and balanced non alcoholic drink. I couldn’t wait to try it especially when I found a small bottle of sparkling apple cranberry juice at the Dollar Tree for $1.25, so it was a big win.

Ingredients for cran-apple sparkling cider mocktail

Cranberry juice- 100% cranberry juice is recommended for the extreme tartness. You can use a cranberry juice cocktail but it might be a tad bit sweeter but still tart

Apple cider-sweet and flavorful it balances out the tartness of the cranberry juice

Sparkling apple cranberry juice- adds a fizzy, bubbly sweet tartness

Cinnamon sugar- for the rim, adds a festive touch and enhances the flavors with a hint of spice

Recipe

Cran-apple sparkling cider mocktail

(serves 1)

1 ounce apple cider

1/2 ounce 100% cranberry juice

Sparkling apple cranberry juice (to top off)

Cinnamon sugar for the rim of the glass

**be sure to chill the cider and juices first**

Prepare the glass to start (I like to use a champagne flute)- Moisten the rim of your glass with water or a slice of lemon. Then dip it into a small plate of cinnamon sugar until the rim is evenly coated.

In the glass, pour the apple cider and cranberry juice. Stir gently. Top it off with sparkling apple cranberry juice. Pour slowly to avoid overflowing and to preserve bubbles. Add a few small cubes of ice if needed.
