A dark and stormy for our Friday because apparently a hurricane could be coming our way this weekend. Wah. Actually I just wanted to share this little story with you that’s attached to a drink called a dark and stormy.
This is the first gift my boyfriend ever bought me. I love ALL things skulls! Even before they became so popular. My boyfriend and I met right before Christmas a few years ago and we agreed not to buy each other any presents because we just met and were just getting to know one another. On one of our first dates we were Christmas shopping and I saw all of these Betsey Johnson sparkly skull things. Key chains, make-up cases, jewelry, etc. I was oohing and aahing over them and my boyfriend was very perceptive of that because he went back to the store a few days later and picked out the skull bottle opener. Perfect! Because you know, I like to drink! Oh, and because I’m a bartender. He knew me so well in such a short period of time. On the back of the box is a recipe for a dark and stormy. So I made us one! In honor of this awesome first gift my man ever bought me.
