Autumn brings the crisp air, cozy sweaters, and the warming comfort of pumpkin spiced everything. But if you’re looking for something with a little more kick this fall, I’ve got you covered with this deadly spicy pumpkin martini. A bold cocktail that blends the creamy sweetness of pumpkin spice with the fiery heat of cinnamon whiskey, making it a daring drink for any seasonal gathering.
I’ve had this drink on my radar since last year when a friend told me about Pumpkin Spice Rumchata. Unfortunately, I was too late and when I went to buy a bottle it was already gone from the stores and not returning until next year. So I made sure I was early enough this year and I grabbed a bottle. First thing I did with it was pour some in my coffee for a spiked pumpkin spice latte. Delicious! Secondly, I made this martini and YUM! It’s really good. It’s a delicious balance between cozy and bold.
Ingredients for deadly spicy pumpkin martini
Pumpkin Spice Rumchata- (or any pumpkin cream liqueur) brings a creamy sweetness that softens the drink’s edge
Fireball- (or any cinnamon whiskey or schnapps) adds a fiery cinnamon kick that gives this martini its “deadly” reputation
Hazelnut liqueur- (like Frangelico or a schnapps) ties the ingredients together with a nutty richness, making each sip complex and satisfying.
Nutmeg- (for garnish, optional) adds warmth and complements the pumpkin spice flavors beautifully
Recipe
Deadly spicy pumpkin martini
(serves 1)
1 1/2 ounces Pumpkin Spice Rumchata
1 1/2 ounces Fireball
1/2 ounce hazelnut liqueur
Pinch of nutmeg, for garnish, optional
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine Rumchata, Fireball, and hazelnut liqueur. Shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top.

To health, wealth, and happiness! Cheers!
