A few months ago, I was seriously craving a frozen drink with banana and peanut butter. Even though it was the middle of winter. I decided to make this chocolate covered banana drink and I wanted to compare it to the real thing. Well, I couldn’t find any anywhere, probably because it was the middle of winter. So I had to make my own frozen chocolate covered banana with nuts. And then I created the cocktail. It was a win and exactly what I was craving.

Ingredients

There’s only 4 ingredients for this drink. Plus ice. Unless you count the garnishes which would make it 6. The garnishes are optional but they do add to the flavor and definitely the look of the drink.

(serves 1)

1/2 of a frozen banana

1/2 ounce banana liqueur

1 1/2 ounce double chocolate vodka

1 ounce peanut butter schnapps (you could also use peanut butter whiskey)

ice (about 3/4 cup)

chocolate syrup and chopped peanuts for garnish- optional but recommended

Place frozen banana, banana liqueur, double chocolate vodka, peanut butter schnapps, and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass. Garnish with the chocolate syrup and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.

I used chocolate syrup in a squeeze bottle. I held the bottle a few inches above the glass and squeezed out the chocolate moving it around the top of the drink.

To health, wealth, and happiness! Cheers!
