A very refreshing drink I crave all summer long.
This past spring I was volunteering at a huge children’s consignment sale and they had a food truck on site. When I was done with my shift I went to get something to eat and I saw that they had fresh squeezed lemonade so I bought a glass and it was THE. BEST. LEMONADE. Just the right amount of lemon juice, water, sugar ratio that I prefer. I completely craved it for weeks. So I hit up pinterest for some recipes. Now the best lemonade is made with sugar in my opinion but I was and still am trying to cut out most sugar from my diet. So I use stevia instead.
Oh and can I also add that I can’t believe I’m sharing a non-alcoholic recipe. Doesn’t happen very often. But I am trying to change that aspect of my blog.
Homemade (no sugar) Lemonade
Makes 1 pitcher
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (approx 5-6 lemons)
5 cups water
1/2 tsp liquid stevia
Combine all ingredients into a pitcher and stir. Refrigerate and serve over ice with a slice of lemon.
Ahhhh! So refreshing!
