Cocktail Recipe
Jellybean margarita
(serves 1)
2 ounces jellybean infused tequila*
1 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice (about 1/2 of a lime)
Splash of blue curacao
Lime wedge and jellybeans for garnish, optional
Salt and sugar for the rim

*For the jellybean infused tequila-
Add 15 jellybeans to a small jar or glass. Pour in 2 ounces of tequila. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to help the jellybeans dissolve. Strain the infused tequila. I used a variety of different jellybeans and not one particular flavor. It imports a subtle sweetness, much like a simple syrup would.
To a cocktail shaker with ice, add jellybean infused tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and a splash of blue curacao. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a salt and sugar rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and jellybeans on a cocktail pick.

The jellybean margarita is a sweet and sour stunner that brings a little whimsy to your cocktail lineup. It’s fun, flavorful, and sure to be a hit with guests who love trying something new and delicious.

To health, wealth, and happiness! Cheers!
