This little bad boy outside cat had to go to the vet today. Our poor Nero was in ALOT of pain the past few days and this morning when I went out to feed him he was bleeding all over the porch. Apparently the little scrapper got into a fight and lost and had a bite on his neck that abscessed.
We never knew who he belonged to and this past spring he came around like he always does and never left. So now we’re adopting him and he’s gonna be an inside cat for awhile. Unfortunately it’s separate from Elvira kittypants because he likes to swat at her and she’s defenseless. The vet was super nice and Nero was super mad to be there but they gave him antibiotics and drained the abscess and he’s already moving around just a little bit better. So my boyfriend and I are officially crazy cat people. I hope our little fatboy old man gets better soon!
