I’m thinking about making this a weekly blog post. The title “nothing but net” is meant to be a shortcut name for all of the things on the (inter)net that I like, am obsessed with, read about, wish I could do, can’t wait to make, etc… The actual name was inspired by all of the March Madness basketball games leading up to the national championship (which I did not watch, but saw the replay several times)where Villanova in the final second-“swish”, nothing but net and they won the championship. Totally insane!
One of my favorite blogs to read is Cake n Knife. I cannot wait to make this Gnocchi. I love love love gnocchi and this lemon cream ricotta gnocchi with peas looks so fresh and spring like and delicious. Also this post about the ultimate bloody mary is so totally OMG. I wish like hell I liked bloody Mary’s. I may experiment and try to make them and drink them until I do like them ya know what I mean. I think maybe I just want to eat the garnishments that are with the bloody mary. So awesome and such great pics. Oh and the spicy salted rim. Holy moly!
Another one of my favorite blogs to read is The Londoner. I have an obsession with the British. I get it from my mom. We love to read English authors and stories set in England. My mom even buys British Good Housekeeping magazine and gives them to me when she’s done reading them. Rosie blogs about everything. Great fashion, insane vacations, great restaurants, good food…this totally insane party that is like my dream party. I wish I could attend a party of this epic magnitude. It looked so insane and insanely fun. One of the most insane parties I ever attended was a few years ago and it involved a “bouncy castle” that the adults went into after the kiddos went home. Oh my, oh my when I say I never laughed so hard or had so much fun. Also , this recipe for slutty Cadbury egg brownies is so totally something I would eat and can’t wait to try next easter.
