Yes, that’s correct. A peanutbutter and jelly shot. And boy is it yummy! If you like peanutbutter and jelly, then you gotta try this shot.
Why a pb&j shot you ask? Well if you follow me on instagram (lisa_itmyhappyhour) then you will see that I made this shot because it’s my son’s first day of preschool!
So I knew that there was such a thing as peanutbutter whiskey which I have yet to try, but then I saw peanutbutter schnapps and I knew I just had to try it. There’s a recipe on the bottle for a peanutbutter and jelly shot that uses raspberry schnapps. I didn’t have any but I did have Chambord, which I just love. Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur. So I combined the two and voila- a drinkable sandwich.
Pb&J shot
1oz peanutbutter schnapps
1oz Chambord
Combine and drink. I poured mine over a glass with an ice cube and swirled it just to chill it a bit. This is totally optional.
