Adult trick or treating time! And it’s only 3 ingredients. And it’s very strong. But aren’t most martini’s anyway?
Reese’s are my son’s favorite candy. But he’s only 4 years old so I don’t want to say that he inspired this cocktail. Although lord knows some days he inspires causes me to have many cocktails. What actually made me want to make this martini is the peanut butter schnapps. I’m like obsessed with it and so excited that I found it. I’ve actually had a small sample bottle of peanut butter whisky that I’ve been wanting to try but I for some reason have been saving for I don’t know what. Maybe it’s because whiskey is stronger than schnapps that I haven’t used it yet. But until then, I’m sticking with my schnapps.
You could really go all out with an adult trick or treating party or should I just say Halloween party, and have a variety of candy bar cocktails. Like my snickers martini or these Candy bar shots!!!
Reese cup martini
(serves 1)
1 1/2 oz double chocolate vodka
1 1/2 oz peanut butter schnapps
1 oz irish cream liqueur
In a shaker with ice, combine all ingredients and shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a reese cup optional.
Happy Halloween!
