sunday suppers

I never told you that I made a cookbook.  Or should I say I have a cookbook.  Or maybe I wrote a cookbook.  Except I didn’t really write one but I did really make one.  Am I drunk you ask?  Ok maybe slightly. HAHA!  So the real story is that a few years ago I made a cookbook for my family as a really super cool surprise Christmas gift.  It was a collection of our favorite recipes.  It looks like one of those church cookbooks or VFW cookbooks you know what I mean?  A spiral bound book sized collection of recipes.  It had a chapter for each of us- my mom, my dad, my sister, and me.  Plus a couple extra chapters.  I only wrote a few things and instead of re-writing all of the recipes out I copied and scanned them and had it all made into my badass little cookbook.  The reason I share this with you now is because tonight’s sunday supper recipe comes from my cookbook.  It was a recipe from my mom.  She found it in a magazine years ago.  It’s super simple easy to make and is so freaking good.  I also made my breakfast casserole, cornbread, “chipotle”, and chicken salad.  The drink dujour was rockstar lemonade and I rocked out to SiriusXM radio in my high heels for about 2 hours cooking all this deliciousness for the week.
