Tonight’s sunday suppers is brought to you by my 14lb turkey that I took out of the oven at 9:30 pm on thanksgiving. Along with homemade gravy. And homemade mashed potatoes. I impressed myself. Now the stuffing on the other hand was from a bag (box). I also made pickled eggs and beets. And yes all of this was done at 9:30 pm on thanksgiving. We ate later than I thought with family so by the time we got home and digested and relaxed, I didn’t put the turkey in til about 5:30. The 14lb turkey for 2 by the way. I wanted an insane amount of leftovers. I am embarrassed to say that they are almost gone 3 days later. For real. Because I have been making my version of a gobblerito.
Take a scoop of all your leftovers (turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing) and throw it in a flour tortilla, fold sides over and flip it on plate and cover it in gravy.
I planned on eating leftovers all week so I didn’t buy any other food. Oops. Seriously, our leftovers are almost gone because we can’t stop eating these turkey burritos.
