Upside down sunshine cake

I made us a cake for the weekend!  In the form of a drink of course. HAHA!  I’m known around these here parts as “the piegirl” so cake is not really my thing.  Don’t really make it and don’t really eat it.  I’m still unpacking from my move in may. I know right, don’t judge me.  Well, I found some recipes that I had torn out of magazines a few years back.  I love when I do that because then sometimes I find them and wonder what it was that I wanted to make.  On one particular page I found 2 recipes.  One for the cake and below it was for soft and chewy chocolate peanut butter cookies.  Which is so def the recipe I must have wanted to try some day. But when I read the recipe for the cake I immediately thought what a good drink that would make.  So I made one for us!

The actual cake recipe calls for yellow cake mix, orange flavor gelatin, pineapple rings, and maraschino cherries. So I substituted.
