just a few things I’ve been up to lately….
We hosted Thanksgiving at our house. It was Christmas decor in the living room and Thanksgiving decor in the dining room.
Pies! Pies! Pies (and a big stack of cups in the way)! Pecan, pumpkin, apple. peach. red berry( red raspberries) cherry, and chocolate pudding (not pictured). I literally gained five pounds in pie over the long weekend. Not to toot my own horn, but my pies are bomb.
After a change of shirt even though he didn’t eat anything, he was all smiles running around the house.
Saturday was our local parade. It was longer than the Halloween parade and he received a lot of candy.
Santa was on back of the fire truck. Santa was also there for the kids to visit but Jackson said he was going to wait and visit him at the mall in December.
We had some mild weather so we decorated outside. This consisted of an 8 foot Santa and some icicle lights on Jackson’s play house. We are not outside decorating people.
That’s as good as it gets.
Hi! 20th century fox comes to this corner of his cage and starts biting it whenever he wants to go in his ball and run around the house.
I went Black Friday shopping. I didn’t wake up early to go so I may have missed a few sales at the mall. I got some great deals at Big Lots(mostly decorations like the 8ft Santa and an air fryer) but the sales at the mall were somewhat disappointing. Like 30%. That’s not a deal. Why am I standing in line to get into a store and then standing in an even longer line to check out for 30%? I did find some gifts to give though. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I went black Friday shopping at Kohls since their sale started Sunday. I got some really good deals and didn’t even have to stand in line. I like that some stores ran their specials all week long. And as a side note, I hate shopping online. Hate it! But that’s like literally all I’ve done these past few days.
So anywho, that’s it! A great, wonderful, fantastic week in the books!
Hope you have a great week ahead!
