what up wednesdays

just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..

I went to a local library’s book sale and got some books for Me and Jax. I read Gap Creek a long time ago and I remember really liking it so I bought it to read again some day. This bunch cost me $4.75 for all.

This was the book haul I got at another library book sale a few weeks ago. There was also a small puzzle and I think it cost me about $7.00. I read the book Back Roads before and I think I really liked it, so I bought it again to read some day. Just like Gap Creek, both are Oprah book club picks from years ago.

Had some hot a** weather last week so we got some ice cream after school

CSA time

Clyde was hanging out in the barn keeping cool. I didn’t see him when I walked in and was reading the board so he meowed real loud at me and scared the crap out of me.

He let’s Jax pet him all the time

Some different stuff this week. Like chicory. Haven’t figured out what to do with it yet.

Made cauliflower gnocchi with turkey sausage meatballs and burst cherry tomatoes, zucchini (both from the CSA), and topped it with the pesto I made last week. YUM!
