just a few things I’ve been up to lately…….

The least amount of pies I ever baked. It’s because I changed my recipe completely so I don’t know how they are going to taste. I’ve always been a crisco crust kind of gal but this year I decided to use all butter because crisco is just so horrible and it’s like not even a real substance. So I just couldn’t bring myself to use it this year. Also, I always mix my pies by hand and this year I used food processor. For those reasons, I only made a few pies and didn’t sell any to anybody either. We’ll see what everyone says on Thursday and if they measure up to my old pies.
Went to the farm market on Tuesday and was so happy they had sage because I forgot to buy some and I would’ve had to make a special trip to the grocery store just for it. Also check out the brussel sprouts. I had no idea that’s how they grew.
