just a few things I’ve been up to lately….
I hosted Thanksgiving and this was the first year we had a kids table and it was a hit.
It was freezing and Petey kept hanging out on the porch and I thought he just must be really hungry but then I realized why…..
He made a new friend and brought her to the porch to eat. She’s very friendly and I felt so bad for her because she’s obviously someone’s cat. She ate 3 bowls of food. She returned every evening for the past week. and I put her pic on the local lost pets facebook page but nobody claimed her yet.
We had some snow and he couldn’t wait to play outside even though it was freezing
Home Depot DIY workshop black friday weekend edition
He made an ornament picture frame
Made a trip to Delallo’s
Perusing the cheese
He went to his Grandma’s to have some pizza for lunch. Jethro her dog was never allowed around him when he was little. Now he’s just too old to care. Both of them.
We have a count down to xmas wall hanging with pockets. Last year I filled each pocket with a chocolate coin. This year I decided not to let him have the extra sugar so I filled up a weeks worth of pockets with a few letters. He had to get the letters and I put spaces on a dry erase board and he had to wait to get all the letters to spell the answer which would be a toy.
Needless to say, he had zero patience and kept begging me to give him more letters and of course I gave in. This was the answer and the toy.
An I basically put the whole thing together. Which I actually completely enjoy.
And the elf showed up on December 1st ready for some shenanigans
He had Monday off so we went to the mall to see Santa
Never wants to sit on his lap or get too close
He showed Santa his list but I didn’t want Santa to keep it so he told him they had letters there that he could write his list on and put it in his mailbox
So that’s what we did
After our Auntie Anne’s pretzel
Threw some pennies in the fountain
And visited Geoffrey
Our annual gingerbread house and this year it’s an Oreo house. He was so excited because he loves Oreos.
Ta-da!
And that’s it! Another wonderful week in the books (and what a busy one)!
Hope you have a great week ahead!
