just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..
I’m back! After a much needed break from blogging/social media etc.. I’ve got a 3 week photo dump for you!

1st day of Christmas break meant McDonald’s playland
There’s the sweetest lady at our McDonald’s who has to be like 80 years old and she takes your order and remembers Jackson every time we go in there. She gave him an ornament and a candy cane this time and it was just so nice of her!

We had some mild weather after Christmas so he rode his bike
to the playground
The next day we checked out a different playground
Then the weather got cold so we went to an indoor entertainment park
Almost got stuck in the ball pit/obstacle course

After all that play, he deserved a snack

And then the snow came!

It’s a piggy bank!
He was supposed to go back to school on Monday but the snow hasn’t stopped so it was a Flexible Instruction Day as they call it now. We made up our own school assignments. We did 6 pages of math and he read 10 books to me.
Then he had to build a snowman which was an instruction from both of his teachers. Unfortunately the snow was not good snowman making material and it wasn’t good sled riding snow either. Whomp whomp.
But he returned to school (after a 2 hour delay) on Tuesday to find out he got Student of the Month! So proud of him!
And that’s it! Another wonderful 3 weeks in the books!
