just a few things I’ve been up to lately……
We went school shopping at the mall
We were also taking pictures for a Christmas book he wants to make again this year (that’s why his stuffie friends are with us)
We wanted him to look “Christmassy” hence the red long sleeve shirt. I wanted him to wear a pair of jeans but not one single pair fit him from this past winter/spring. He grew about 4 inches from last year.

Aunt Nay came to craft. We painted frames that were actually packaging from a new dehumidifier she bought. Hers is flowers, mine is multi colored, Jax is blue.
Then we met my bestest Terri, Blaine, and Levi at an ice cream place that serves gigantic sizes of everything. His small cone was ginormous. He loved it and wants to go back. Next time I ‘ll have to get a baby cone because a small was almost too much for me.
CSA haul- peaches, tomatoes, apples, pickling cukes, corn, sage, bell peppers, and a white eggplant
We took a walk pushing Cookie Monster in a dump truck. It’s something we used to do a lot when he was little. We walked a few blocks, stopped at the coffee shop where I got a lavender white chocolate latte that was quite tasty, then we stopped a the bakery where Jax got some pepperoni rolls and a cookie.

I made zucchini muffins from a zucchini that I got a few weeks ago from the CSA. The recipe is from Pinch of Yum. They were very good! No refined sugar and no flour.
We went to the end of the Summer Reading Program at the library. They read a book, gave out prizes, gave out certificates and everyone could pick out 2 free books, and we ate pizza.
And the next day Jax had his end of the Youtube summer reading program party for his Youtube channel HampsterbabyTV
And that’s it! Another wonderful week in the books! I cannot believe this is going to be the final week before school starts. I am legit so sad to have him go back to school.
