just a few things I’ve been up to lately……
My local library is having this neat book sale going on in the month of January. For $1.00 you can buy a book. Except you don’t know what book you are buying. It’s wrapped up and only has a short description on the tag. After you purchase the book, they give you a small “treat” bag that comes with hot cocoa mix and cookies.

The library also has craft bags. Jax took this one to his grandparents house. They were having hot chocolate day so this craft was perfect for him and his grandma to do together.
I hit after xmas clearance sale pay dirt at Target the other day. 3 weeks after xmas and these $35 flannel pj’s were 90% off. I don’t know how I got these. Literally someone had to have just returned them. Even the cashier couldn’t believe it when they rang up $3.50!!! She was like how did you find a size small?? Do they have any more on the shelf??

Cousin Clara got baptized
We skipped out on the luncheon after the baptism and Jax was not happy about it so Mike told him he would buy him some cake. This is what he picked out.
This was sort of like an at home version of Home Depot DIY workshop. Mike and Jax built the tool box and Jax painted it. Unfortunately they hardly gave you any paint with it but he tried to make do with what he had.
