just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..
Or not up to because I basically got nothing for you. My week was that low key.

So I started a 10 day diet last monday. It’s supposed to be like a liver cleanse. This was the smoothie I drank every morning. Then basically its 5-6 oz protein, 3/4 cup rice, 1 cup veggies for lunch and 5-6 oz protein, 1/2 sweet potato, 1 cup veggies for dinner. Snack mid morning and mid afternoon is 2 dates or an apple. No dairy, no eggs, no nuts or nut butter either. I lasted 9 days. Today was the 10th day and I just couldn’t. I was very hungry and very cranky. The diet was part of a program called perfect 10 and she said the liver cleanse takes about 9 days. So the 10th day was just for the programs namesake I’m guessing but either way I ditched it and I’m quite happy that I did. Do I feel better? Maybe slightly the 1st few days. I def de-bloated and lost 4 pounds in 3 days. But other than that it just felt too strict and I was starving on some days even though you could add another protein/starch/veggie combo in if you needed to. I couldn’t stomach another meal like that. You could also add in a protein shake which I did most days and I was still hungry. And did I mention cranky…

A meal I make on repeat and Mike really likes is this taco stuffed sweet potato. So good and very easy to make.

Yea and that’s all I got. We were going to go bowling on Sunday but were just hanging out all day chilling so we didn’t.
We (I) watched a lot of the Olympics- love to watch the ice skating and also the gold medal hockey game was quite exciting especially for a Sunday morning 8am start.
And that’s it! Another wonderful week in the books!
