just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..
I forgot to mention this last week, but I finally finished the book The Summer Garden by Paulina Simmons. It’s the 3rd and final book in the Bronze Horseman series I started at the end of last summer. It is probably one of my all time favorites ever. Even though the books talk a lot about war especially WWII. I don’t particularly like books dealing with war. I can’t mentally handle them but this trilogy of books was too good to put down. The 3rd book took a little bit for me to get back into, then I couldn’t put it down. Then about a little more than halfway through, it changed the story a bit and I didn’t quite like the direction it went. But I kept on reading and when I finished the last page, I just started crying. Because it was over. And because it was just such an epic story.
We finished the last episode of Billions. Loved it. Not even sure why but we just did. Game of Thrones this season is just so awesome. I started watching The Real Housewives of Dallas again and now I’m obsessed. I love Brandi. I want to hangout and drink jesus juice with her. Then there’s the show called There Goes the Motherhood. Again it was a show I would put on to fall asleep to and now I can’t stop watching it. These are Bravo bad “reality” TV shows and I’ve been having trouble sleeping so I wind up watching all this crap at about 2 or 3 am. I’m saving Mistresses for a few episodes so I can binge watch and I can’t wait! And it’s not reality tv either.
