what up wednesdays

Just a few things I’ve been up to lately……..

1. BOOKS!!!! I’m in such a reading mood but I was also in this crazy mood where I wanted to wander around the bookstore and buy some books even though I have like 67 books on my bookshelf to read. All from my Mom. And now one from Elaine who turned 40+1. She gave me the Amy Schumer book to read.
2. Speaking of Elaine who turned 40+1. It was her birthday this past Friday, which I mentioned last week. Anywho Elaine, Trixie, and myself all went out for dinner and drinks last Wednesday. Then I met Elaine who turned 40+1 at Panera on Friday and we shopped a the mall. We found some crazy good deals. Especially in the Martha Stewart section of Macy’s. Then I went to the bookstore myself and wondered around for an hour or two and bought the books in the above picture (except for Amy Schumer’s). Good times, good times.
3. This past sunday Elaine who turned 40+1 and I (boy were we attached at the hip this week) went to the flea market near us to sell some shit. We talked about going last year and never did and we were supposed to go in the spring this year but hadn’t made it. So we packed up our stuff and rented some space and tried to make some money off of all the stuff we didn’t want or need anymore. It was a very good day for me. I got rid of well over half of what I brought and made some nice cash. Elaine who turned 40+1 didn’t get rid of a few big ticket items but she made some nice money too. I always forget how fun it is to go to flea markets sometimes. Not just to sell but to see what’s out there for sell and to people watch. Oh the people watching. But that’s all I’ll say about that.
