just a few things i’ve been up to lately…..
Made these Italian Margaritas twice already last week.
Jackson painting a picture to give to ghost spider aka ghosty aka nami aka his grandmother aka my mother. He calls his grandfather (pap Duke) Spin. If you’ve never seen Spidey and his amazing friends from Disney Jr. then you have no idea what I’m talking about.
Jackson and I met up with my sister and niece and went to a farmer’s market and to a local city’s Art’s Walk. It was a really nice time. They had live bands, vendors, exhibits, interactive art projects and the weather was just perfect too.
Our favorite part was a “paint your own candy bar” at a local chocolate shop. You got a full size Hershey bar and the “paint” was different colors of melted chocolate and then you could add all the toppings you wanted- sprinkles, mini m&m’s/reese’s, gummi bears, animal cookies, etc. It was so much fun!
A work of art!! After we got home and he ate lunch, he devoured the whole thing!

I kept seeing ads for low/no acid coffee so I decided to try Tyler’s coffee and while it’s on the pricey side, I really like it! It’s really smooth and doesn’t have any bitter aftertaste.
I’m on a bit of a reading hiatus but my fiance Mike is reading the book Dune that I bought him for Easter. He watched the movie on HBO and just kept talking about it but was all upset that the second part of the movie wasn’t comin out until like 2023. So I bought him this book and he devoured it in less than 3 weeks. And Mike is totally NOT a reader. I mean like he could count on 2 hands the number of books he’s read in his life. He actually has me tempted to read it.
