Ingredients for almond warmer

Espresso- I used instant espresso from Delallo’s. You could also use coffee if you prefer.

amaretto

cocoa- I used regular cocoa, like the kind you bake with. You can also use a hot cocoa mix powder if you like.

hot milk- any kind of milk will work. I used almond milk original.

whipped cream- for garnish optional, but if you’re going to go for it, go for it!

Recipe

First, I made the espresso. I used instant espresso from Delallo’s. Second, I heated the milk. Then I combined the espresso, amaretto, cocoa, and hot milk in a cup. I used a frother to blend it all together. You can also use a whisk or shake it in a jar. This step just gives it that foamy affect and isn’t necessary for the taste. Add whipped cream to the top and dust lightly with a pinch of cocoa powder.
