This creamy, decadent chocolate chip cheesecake pie is so easy to make and with only 6 ingredients plus the crust, you’ll want to make this over and over again.
I have had this chocolate chip cheesecake pie recipe for years and years. It’s one of my nephew’s favorites and recently my sister asked me for the recipe because she lost it and she wanted to make it for my nephew. It had been awhile since I made it so when I sent it to her, I decided to make it for myself. Oh it was just so good. Mikey and I had trouble not eating the whole thing in one sitting.
Ingredients
The recipe uses just 6 simple ingredients.- cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, an egg, vanilla extract, mini chocolate chips, and flour.
The crust is a premade chocolate pie crust. I actually found this Diamond chocolate pecan pie crust at Aldi. It’s made with pecans, walnuts, and real cocoa. It was delicious. Unfortunately, it was a special buy, so you can’t get it all the time. But I did find it at Walmart a few weeks ago. If you can find it, I highly recommend it, but if you can’t a regular ready made chocolate pie crust works just as well.
Recipe
It’s so super simple to make, you can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer. Just beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth. Next add the egg and vanilla. * Toss chips with flour and add to mixture. Pour into premade crust.
*Tossing the mini chocolate chips with flour helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the pie. I had a tad bit of an issue with that as you can see in my photos. A lot of my chips sank to the bottom but it was still delicious. One way to prevent this is to save some of the chips and sprinkle them on top of the pie right before baking.
