I have a small obsession with mudslides. In case you missed it. I talk about them here and here. I also have a small obsession with eggnog and Bailey’s. So of course I thought “why not an eggnog mudslide?” I use regular store bought eggnog so it’s non alcoholic and then I add my own alcohol. I made Martha Stewart’s homemade eggnog for a holiday party years and years ago and while it was delicious, 1 cup and you were drunk. Her recipe had bourbon, cognac, and dark rum in it. Mine has Bailey’s, Kahlua, and vodka in it. So one glass and you might be kinda drunk. Haha. Since I’m talking about obsessions today, I used to work at McDonald’s when I was a teenager and I was obsessed with their eggnog milkshakes. They were the best ever! Unfortunately (or fortunately for my waistline) , they changed the recipe and consistency and they’ve never tasted the same since then. So I’ll just stick to my adult eggnog milkshakes now.
eggnog mudslide
1 oz vodka
1 oz Bailey’s or any irish cream
1 oz Kahlua or any coffee liquer
1 cup eggnog
1 cup ice
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on medium. Chocolate syrup around inside of glass optional. Cute holiday straws optional too!
