millionaire’s coffee

I made us this coffee because the powerball lottery goes off tonight and I’m going to win. Just sayin. I say this with certainty because isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? Send positive thoughts and energy and affirmations into the universe and it will come back to you. I’m going with that theory. And the theory of things happening in 3’s. You know, 3 strikes you’re out, 3rd times a charm…. Well I also have a find a penny obsession. “Find a penny pick it up and all day long you’ll have good luck.” So I’ll start from the beginning- I found some Christmas money in a card when I was putting away decorations. I decided that I was going to just use it to buy some scratch off lottery tickets because I love love love scratch off tickets. Don’t judge me. Oh listen to this story, I won a lottery tree one time off of my bestest friend’s niece who did this senior project at our work and it was like a Chinese auction style so I obvi put all my tickets to try and win the lottery tree and I won! So one of my coworkers said “if you win, I get a ticket and if I win, I’ll give you a ticket”. I agreed, so I gave her a ticket. It was the only winning one out of the whole bunch. For real. I think it was like for $5.00. So anyway, back to my penny I’m winning 900 million dollars story… I wanted to stop and buy some tickets with the $ I found in a xmas card. But first I was at the gym and I found a head’s up penny on the floor and I thought see, it’s a sign that I should stop and buy some tickets. I win money when I find head’s up pennies. Seriously. Not every single time but enough that it is a true theory for me. Oh, and I never pick up a tail’s up penny. Like even if I’m cleaning my house and there’s a tails up penny on the floor. I’ll leave it there. So I found this penny at the gym and afterwards I stopped at a local gas station and bought a $1.00 scratch off ticket, a $5.00 scratch off ticket, and a powerball ticket. Well I’m finally getting to my point and combining all my theories because…. I won a free ticket on the $1.00 scratch off and $100.00 on the $5.00 scratch off which means I’m going to hit the powerball!!! 3rd times a charm get it?!? Phew! So this coffee I made is a precursor to my good luck. And if the stars don’t align or the universe doesn’t send it back my way then tomorrow I’ll be drinking my coffee with bottom shelf cheaper liquors and I’ll make the post a “hundredaire’s coffee” instead. Haha!

Millionaire’s coffee
1 cup strong hot coffee
1/2 oz Kahlua
1/2 oz Baileys
1/2 oz Grand Marnier
1/2 oz Frangelico
Combine all ingredients in a coffee mug. Optional to top with whipped cream which I chose not to due to calories and simply not having any on hand.

Oh and I need to mention that I made my coffee in my new Keurig that I got for Christmas from my 2 sweet godchildren Jason and Jenna. They are the kids of Elaine who turned 40 and she threatened my life if I didn’t immediately open and use their present. So I did. And it’s awesome. Thank you! I’m going to buy her 5 of them when I win the powerball! Hehe!
