sunday suppers

Hello. I’m back. A little absent doin all the holiday shit. But now it’s time to get all serious and back to the grind and real life and resolutions and goals and diets and I just want to crawl under the covers and hibernate til oh about april….
Enough crying already. Tonight’s sunday suppers is brought to you by chili. I’s officially cold where I live. We had like the warmest December since like 1889 or something and it was fantastic. I loved it. Fuck white Christmas. And I got a really nice really warm winter coat for Christmas and was wondering if I was even gonna get to wear it this year and lo and behold, it’s fucking winter now. So in light of the cold and my new winter coat, and the fact that I can’t stop throwing out the F-bomb, I made us some chili to warm us up.

I kind of just throw a bunch of stuff in a crockpot and hope for the best. It came out quite tasty. I also tried to get back in the groove of sunday suppers and put on some high heeled boots, turned on Venus on siriusXM radio, and poured myself a vodka and lemonade. Time to get to work. I made the breakfast casserole, cornbread, chicken salad, and threw some frozen turkey meatballs in spaghetti sauce and finished off the chili. I’ve got to ease back into this ya know.
