
Dirty soda has taken the internet by storm, but have you ever thought about making it a protein-packed treat? Well, Tik Tok has and so I decided to give it a try too. I made 2 different versions of protein dirty soda using prebiotic soda but the possibilities are practically endless. And with the rise of functional drinks, combining your favorite soda alternatives with protein is the perfect way to enjoy a refreshing, creamy beverage while fueling your body.

Dirty soda traditionally combines soda, flavored syrups, and cream or milk for a rich, fizzy and indulgent drink. This version swaps in healthier ingredients while keeping that creamy, bubbly goodness you love. You can try out my cherry vanilla dirty soda here.
And speaking of cherry vanilla dirty soda, I made a cherry vanilla protein dirty soda using different ingredients. It’s a cherry lover’s dream!

Ingredients for cherry vanilla protein dirty soda
Cherry cola Olipop- it has a nostalgic cherry cola taste with prebiotics for gut health
Vanilla protein shake- You want a premixed version of this. I used Fairlife vanilla protein milkshake. I’ve seen other people use Premiere Protein vanilla shake.
This version tastes like a cherry vanilla float but with added protein to keep you feeling full and energized.

Cherry vanilla protein dirty soda
(serves 1-2)
1 can of cherry cola Olipop
1/2 to 1 cup vanilla protein shake (I used Fairlife core power protein milkshake)
Ice
Fill a glass with ice. Pour in the soda and top with the vanilla protein shake. Stir gently.

My second version combines the citrusy pop of orange Poppi prebiotic soda with the same creamy taste of vanilla protein shake for another delicious, protein-rich twist. This drink delivers the perfect balance of refreshing orange and smooth vanilla, reminiscent of an old-fashioned orange creamsicle.
And this is where the different possibilites come into play. There are so many varieties of prebiotic sodas- cola, grape, banana, root beer, dr. pepper flavored, and so many more.
Also, you do not need to use a prebiotic soda! Use your favorite regular soda or diet soda.
Recipe
Orange cream protein dirty soda
(serves 1-2)
1 can orange poppi
1/2- 1 cup vanilla protein shake (I used Fairlife core power vanilla milkshake)
Ice
Fill a glass with ice. Pour in the soda and top with the vanilla protein shake. Stir gently.
