Rum fig jam cocktail

rum fig jam cocktail-itsmyhappyhour.com

This rum fig jam cocktail is made with a dark rum, fig jam, orange sparkling water and has a cinnamon sugar rim. There’s a deep, smoky sweet flavor from the rum along with the sweetness of the fig jam, and a bright citrusy flavor from the orange sparkling water that just pairs perfectly with a cinnamon sugar rimmed glass.

Jam cocktails have been around for quite sometime. I even posted some jam cocktails in 2015. I also previously posted a fig jam cocktail- this bourbon cranberry fig jam cocktail. And then this past year jam seltzers became a sensation on TikTok. Jam seltzer is jam and sparkling water. Just add alcohol and you have a jam cocktail. Or a spiked jam seltzer. Call it whatever you want, I call it delicious.

I have a bit of an obsession with a cinnamon sugar rim. It just reminds me of fall and every year I can’t wait for pumpkin beer with a cinnamon sugar rim. This rum fig jam cocktail pairs perfectly with a cinnamon sugar rim. It is totally optional. As is the rosemary sprig in the drink I used purely for decoration although figs pair well with rosemary.

  1. Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.” by Epictetus.
