Ok, it’s just the fruit on a stick. Not like a popsicle or anything. So you can actually eat the fruit in your sangria after it’s been soaking in the wine. And you can be all lady-like about it without having to dig your grubby little fingers in the glass trying to get to the fruit.
This sangria has an extra extra kick to it. Two liquors and wine instead of just one liquor as is the usual standard. The recipe was adapted from my “princess ” Lolita wine glass. That recipe is called “princess” which incidentally is my nickname. Imagine that. Haha. So I made it into a sangria.
Add the alcohol first to the glass then top with lemonade. You could chill the whole glass if you like so that the fruit can flavor and soak up the drink. Or if you are impatient, add ice. I won’t judge you.
Sangria on a stick (serves 1)
1 oz vodka
1 oz peach schnapps
1/2 glass white wine
top with lemonade
fruit to put on skewer ( I used pineapple, grapes, strawberry)
