what up wednesdays

just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..

• It’s like almost 60 degrees around here today.  That little varmint groundhog was right! Spring is here!!! Oh wait, tomorrow it’s supposed to snow or maybe not snow but not even hit 40 degrees. Humph. I can’t complain too much though.  It’s been such a mild winter with one big snow dump the other weekend and then poof 60 degrees.
• 11 more days til The Walking Dead comes back on!!!!  Can’t you like totally not wait!
• I started to read the book Brooklyn by Colm Toibin.  It was a New York Times bestseller and is a movie.  Like right now is a movie out in theaters like right now.  Just like the book Room.  My friend Elaine who turned 40 read Room and was all like “you should read this book it was really good” and then I’m watching the Golden Globes and the movie was up for nominations and the girl won best actress and I’m all like “hey Elaine who turned 40, did you know that book is a movie? Like out in theaters and up for awards a movie?”  She did not know this.  Then literally like a few days later my mom was like “oh I have some more books for you to read. There’s one called Room and it was really  good, you should read it.  And it’s a movie too.”  Freaky weird when things like that happen.  So I do plan on reading it.  It’s on my bookshelf along with 50 other books my mom has given me to read.  She is a speed reader and has her own library practically.  You can never go wrong giving her a Barnes and Noble gift certificate as a present.
• Are you watching the Super Bowl this sunday?  I’m thinking I will because I would really like to see Denver win.  And if anything, there’s always the commercials of course.
• The number of times I used the word “like” in this post- 11  Like seriously? Hehe
