what up wednesdays

just a few things I’ve been up to lately……

He got all tatted up for the week. His words too. I was putting the tattoo’s on him when his dad came home and he said “look dad, I’m getting tatted up!” He’s too funny.

We went to a local park we hadn’t been to in awhile. Cookie monster came along .

The park has a creek we always play in.

They put these giant rocks there this summer and took away the path to the creek but people made a new path to it because it ‘s just what you do when you go to that park. Everyone loves playing in the creek. Another mother and I were discussing this while the kids threw rocks in the creek.

We fed cats.

20th century fox ate spinach.

Are you seeing double? It’s sometimes so hard to tell these 2 cats apart. Asher is on the car and Petey is sitting in the driveway.

We visited his dad at work where Jackson had some welding to do on his car.

And we fed cats again. This time only Onyx showed up. The other little kitty wasn’t around.

Elvira likes to sit in the garden in the evenings.

So a little TV talk…. We tried to watch House of Dragons on HBO. We made it about halfway through. There was just to much violent, senseless killing even for Mike’s taste. And while it’s been a few years since Game of Thrones, which also contained a lot of violent senseless killing, this show jus came out with it way too fast and it just seemed annoying for lack of a better word. Mike said he might try to watch it again and I will admit I am slightly intrigued to see the dragons so maybe we will give it another go.

Other than that, we used to binge watch a lot of shows but anymore I just can’t get into anything other than my really bad reality tv shows that just numb my brain for an hour or 2.

So that’s about it. A pretty low key but great week. Just soaking up the last few days of summer before preschool starts.
