just a few things I’ve been up to lately……
This week is brought to you by books and beautiful weather.
Jackson wanted to recreate a craft he did his second day of preschool. It was actually one that he cut apart and threw away. I never knew that the craft was based on a book. So we went to Target and found the book and bought it and then went to Michael’s craft store and bought our supplies.
We came home and read the book “The Rainbow Fish” and then he went to work on his craft project.
Ta-da! The finished project. It was so much fun.
Later on in the day he got a Happy Meal. He doesn’t actually like to eat McDonald’s. He just likes the box and the toy.
On Saturday, we went to a pumpkin walk fundraiser at a local library. It was inside and there were tables set up with giveaways, free books, cookies, and food trucks outside. We met up with my sister and niece and had a nice time.
They newly renovated the children’s section at the library and it’s super cool.
We went to Hallowboo at Idlewild. The kids dress up and trick or treat through storybook forest.
He is a cookie and cookie monster is taking a bite of him.
His favorite thing is to climb the giant ropes. We had a nice time. The weather was perfectly gorgeous and so was the colorful fall foliage.
On monday the weather was perfect again so we went to the park.
A random black cat hanging out at the park that came right up to us looking for some pets.
This is the second park we went to that day. Then we stopped at Dairy Queen on the way home.
He’s sleeping and I woke him up to take a picture.
And that’s it for our fantastic fun filled week! Looking forward to trick or treating and the Halloween parade this coming week.
Hope you have a great week ahead and a Happy Halloween!
