just a few things I’ve been up to lately……
Craft time at the Library
This week at the library we “visited” Japan and the craft was a Koinobori which is a flying fish kite flown every year on National Children’s day. It’s said to be a symbol of energy, strength and courage.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
I bought this water table for $15 bucks on craigslist when he was 1. The most played with outside toy still going strong 4 years later.
Bike riding on the river trail. This was a pit stop.
Hiking with Dad at the pit stop
Then we picked up BBQ and tried to get a smiling pic with dad
Early morning snuggles with Elvira Kittypants
Jackson and his buddy fixing the roof on this old abandoned house they found-their words, not mine….
This handsome gray and white cat is the “neighborhood cat” we see almost every evening when we go for a walk. He lives on this one particular street and visits everybody there. Some people feed him or leave a bowl of water out for him or give him treats. We see him on various peoples porches, hanging out in yards, or even hanging out with this beagle that always barks at us. He lets me pet him and we found out that he used to live in one house on that street then his owner moved to a different house down the same street and then she passed away. So now he is just the neighborhood cat. My biggest question is -where does he go in the winter? I need to know being the obsessive cat person that I am.
And that’s it! Another fabulous week in the books!
Hope you have a great week ahead!
