just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..
So Mike took off work on thursday and we were supposed to go to Idlewild for the day. Unfortunately they were closed. But we made the most of it and had a fun day getting some things done and going a few places. First stop- Home Depot. Can you find Jackson?
Next stop, the Cat Cafe! It was Mike’s first visit. He liked it a lot.
This kitty wanted to taste my iced blueberry matcha.
This cat is new to the cafe. He’s posing for the picture so nicely. There’s also a kitty hiding in the cat bed below. He refused to come out.
There were all new kittens in the kitty room. I wanted to bring this one home with me.

Then we went to a park. He’s climbing a beanstalk.
Now he’s a hamster in a hamster tube.

Then we went to a pizza place to meet up with my family for my Mom’s birthday, They have a really delicious greek pizza.
Simon the Michigan Avenue cat. Not from the cat cafe. We see him almost every night on our walks.
Making home made salsa. All the tomatoes and peppers were from my garden. I’m not sure if I’ll get many more batches this year because my garden didn’t do so great.
Yum! 5 jars and 1 is already gone
Got to visit our newest family member!
Our last week of story time and McDonald’s play place because he starts kindergarten tomorrow!!! (WAAAAHHHH cue all the tears)
