just a few things I’ve been up to lately…..
1. New years eve we did absolutely nothing and it was so much fun. I literally sat around all day and binge watched The Affair season 2(much to Mikey’s dismay but he started to get into it). We had a few beers and snacks in the afternoon and then I made 4 different kinds of homemade pizza- pepperoni/sausage/banana pepper, taco, white, and steak/mushroom/goat cheese- and we ate and drank wine til the ball dropped. Good times.
2. I haven’t made any resolutions yet because I don’t like the pressure. I like to take a few days and think about it. Because I’m a severe procrastinator. There you go, resolution #1- stop procrastinating.
3. Did you hear the news? I was first told by my bestie Melissa that it was happening…..Sex and the City 3!!!!!! You can find the article here. I’m so excited!! Even though I didn’t think the 2nd movie was all that, I still don’t care. It’s SATC. And what better excuse to put on your fanciest shoes, grab your best friends, have a few cocktails, and go to the movies. AmIright?
4. So my cardio game at the gym has been ruined so to speak. I liked to do cardio while I watched General Hospital. Well apparently, in my area, DirecTV cancelled ABC and that’s the provider my gym has, so now I can’t watch GH and I’m seriously bummed out. I know, real problems. Ha.
5. It’s grapefruit season and I’m determined to like grapefruits. And gin. But maybe not grapefruit in gin even though that’s a drink called a Paloma and it looks so pretty and I wish I liked it. Of couse the first thing that comes to mind is a grapefruit margarita because I’m totally predictable.
6. Winter is here. Tomorrow it’s going to snow and be 25 degrees. Ugh! I hate winter. I mentioned Monday that my girl Trixie is in Key West right now. And she’s going to Hawaii in a few months. Can we just really hate on her now?? Hehe. Just kidding. Luv you Trix!
