Gin, apricot brandy, and grenadine all combine for this tasty and pretty bermuda rose cocktail.
Here’s a little look inside my brain and how I decide what drinks to make. Sometimes I just like the name while other times I like the list of ingredients and want to know if it tastes good, Sometimes it’s on the recommendations of other people or on a menu somewhere. Or it’s completely weird like todays drink. There’s actually 2 reasons – the first is that I don’t really like gin. Or at least that’s what I thought. Because quite frankly I never really had any gin drinks except a gin and tonic and that’s totally not my thing. Soooo, being a drink blogger and following a bunch of gin accounts on instagram I figured I better make some gin cocktails. One of my first being this Gin Alexander with coffee. And it was delicious! So now I’m a gin drinker! Ha! Anywho, I saw this Bermuda rose cocktail in The Playboy Bartender’s guide and decided to try it out because I also have like a whole bottle of apricot brandy.
Now, the second reason gets a little weird. I also made it because I’m watching The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and everything just went down in Bermuda. Like there was this big reveal drama blah blah blah while the group was on a trip to Bermuda. And also one of the women on the show is named Whitney Rose. So get it? A Bermuda rose. Please don’t judge me for my brain or because I watch RHOSLC. Pretty please?
