This chocolate peanut butter mudslide combines some of my most favorite liqueurs into a delicious frozen drink that I have officially declared my drink for the summer.
Ingredients for chocolate peanut butter mudslide
A traditional mudslide contains vodka, coffee liqueur, and irish cream with a chocolate drizzle. Other variations add heavy cream. Traditionally it is not a frozen cocktail but it is a more popular way to serve it. You can use ice or vanilla ice cream instead of heavy cream.
When I think of a mudslide, I prefer the frozen variety. Maybe it’s because about 9 years ago, Mikey and I went to a resort in Mexico where we drank many frozen mudslides on the beach every afternoon.
For this mudslide, I used-
double chocolate vodka
Irish cream
coffee liqueur
peanut butter schnapps(you could also use peanut butter whiskey)
milk- I used original almond milk. You can use any milk or heavy cream
chocolate syrup
ice
Recipe
The recipe for this mudslide couldn’t be easier- combine all the ingredients in a blender with ice and blend until smooth.
If you enjoy the flavors of a mudslide as much as I do, try out my mudslide coffee. alternatively, during the holidays you can try my eggnog mudslide.
