This chocolate martini is perfect for Valentine’s Day! Oh so tasty and adding the chocolate syrup around the inside of the glass is a must. It also has 4 shots of alcohol and who wouldn’t want to drink their chocolate?

So there’s this little restaurant not far from my parent’s house that they like to go to. It’s not walking distance but probably only like a few miles away. Every time they go there, they order chocolate martini’s. They love them so much that they finally asked the bartender for the recipe. My Dad wanted to make this martini at home so that they could have more than 1. They’re pretty strong and they have to drive home so this way they wouldn’t have to worry about it.

My dad makes these all the time at home (and they still go to the restaurant and drink them too) and let me tell you, it’s delicious. It has vanilla vodka, double chocolate vodka, creme de cacao (a chocolate liqueur), and irish cream liqueur. Wowza! All that chocolatey flavor. So good and so strong!

Who needs a box of chocolates this valentine’s day? Drink your chocolates instead!

My Dad’s chocolate martini

(serves 1)

1 oz vanilla vodka

1 oz double chocolate vodka

1 oz creme de cacao

1 oz irish cream

chocolate syrup

Chill a martini glass in the freezer or like I used to when I was a bartender- fill a martini glass with ice and water while you make the drink. Then dump it out and fill with the cocktail. It’s kind of a quick chill method.

In a shaker with ice, combine 1st 4 ingredients. Shake well.

Take chilled martini glass and put chocolate syrup around inside of glass. Strain shaker into glass and enjoy.

Can easily be doubled to enjoy with your Valentine. Or if you’re drinking alone, then you can have 2!
