just a few things I’ve been up to lately……

Picking up my sister’s CSA veggies at the farm and this sweet guy wanted some pets from Jax
This was the weeks veggies. I meant to get ourselves a share this year but I procrastinated too long and didn’t get in on it. My sis is on vacation so I get to pick up her share and it’s always fun to see what your going to get.
My veggies/herbs
I decided to be very European and make my meals based on the fresh veggies I got in the box/bag. This is a salad made with the green and red lettuce I got. I added chicken, tomatoes, pickled egg, cheese, and sweet potato fries(it’s a pittsburgh thing).
Next, I made shrimp scampi with swiss chard and asparagus. This was bomb! The swiss chard came from the farm. The asparagus did too from the week before that my sister left in her fridge for me to use.
Then I made teriyaki pork with bok choy and rice. The bok choy came from the farm. This was also bomb!
First saturday of the month is Home Depot craft time!
It’s a putting green. I forgot to take a final pic. It was really cute.
We went strawberry picking!
Fed some goats
Saw some baby goats
Jumped on the giant jumping pillow
Climbed the giant tires…
That takes you to the giant tunnel slides
Delicious!
He couldn’t wait to return his library book and put it in the book return.
